Transgender Gap
Many in the trans community hope to rise, phoenix-like, from the ashes and pass a bill next year. There are signs they may. Following the McDonald’s attack, for instance, Gov. Martin O’Malley issued a statement pledging to work for “even greater protections for transgendered people” in the next legislative session.
