Narrow Tent
If the Republican Party wants to contend it's a broad tent, it needs to allow leadership from other than ideological conservative hard-liners who demand fealty to a one-size-fits-all politics. That's why we were disappointed to see Senate Minority Leader Allan Kittleman step aside last week. Kittleman, it appears, committed the cardinal sin of supporting same-sex civil unions. What's more, he will sponsor legislation allowing those unions in Maryland. Full Story »
