As I read this bill, I had trouble figuring out what context, if any, this bill fit under. How much garbage is actually IN that landfill. The only word I see is "ungodly" in a quote from a biased party. While including all the energy bills on the table was good reporting, the main topic of the story is poorly presented and difficult to grasp.

Considering the economic climate, this is a relevant and important story. The writer researches it well and provides an incredible honest portrait of the domestic manufacturing situation. Although niche companies like Zentech provide hope, it's important to make sure readers stay pragmatic, especially in times of massive political shifts seemingly daily.

The piece is compelling and incredibly well written. It paints a gripping story with wonderful structure and a careful narrative. However, it's journalistically unsound. The only sources are the doctors conducting the study and one doctor who's worked in the same field. The story makes brief mention of policy, but doesn't make any mention of what the policy actually is. There is no depth into what kind of research has been done before, only acknowledging that a study of this nature is the first of its kind.

This is good journalism. There is clearly an issue, and the story reveals what it is, the discussions that have taken place, and the events that have occurred the inform the discussion along the way. It's timely because of Obama's impending visit there, at the time.

This isn't just good journalism, it's good argumentation. He starts out by stating his thesis, then he expands his thesis. he shows his audience the other side's points, then their flaws, then clinches the audience's trust and respect by backing it up with his original points and conclusion. Great piece, well sourced with experts, and it outlines a disturbing trend in American political and environmental discourse.

The story mentions Mubarak being in power for 30 years, but doesn't explain how he stayed in power for so long (violently repressing opposition), only quotes sources in the government as opposed to from the government and the protestors, and seems hastily put together. Although well written and factual, I fail to see both sides of the story, which really is the protest, equally represented.
