A good article in many ways, but I disagree that we need a "pedagogy of disruption". Disruption is the term used by privatization and automation advocates. The last thing that higher education needs now is a further push toward a free market, for-profit paradigm. That's what caused problems to begin with.

Factual in that both sides positions are presented (edits were traced, but headquarters denies done there, investigation continues. Also actual before/after text revisions are presented) Fair except for "in what appears to be an attempt to downplay police accountability" is assumption biased against NYPD & up for grabs except that MEDIAite adds further examples (post event deletions justified based on perceived lack of interest over time) that could be evidence of pattern of historical erasure.

I do not use Wikapedia for anything of importance because by definition it is mob sourced revisionism and it seems impossible to filter spin except in situations of hard data. Individually prepared journalism can be supported or refuted point by point but moving targets are more difficult. Sadly (a contributor to dissemination of misinformation) Wikapedia is now used as an authoritative source. Some sources estimate that a majority of doctors use it as a reference (hopefully not ... Wikipedia IS mob sourced revisionism! I edit errors sometimes, but it is a losing battle.

Odd English usage for a news story, e.g. "a quasi-sacred national principle: American exceptionalism". Quasi-sacred?

The real story here is that Oklahoma lawmakers want to discontinue funding and instruction of AP History. AP classes aren't like Common Core or school choice vouchers/charters. They aren't fads or subject to privatization corruption. AP exams are important! It would be bizarre to discontinue offering them on ideological grounds.
